Romeo and Juliet Writing by Todd

Juliet’s Description My heart skips a beat, I watch helplessly as her unimaginable beauty devours me. Its like I'm hypnotised; stuck like an animal in a cage. Her lush chocolate brown hair sways in the wind as she strolls towards me in a perfect rhythm. She floats like an angel down the alleyway. Her eyes dance in the moonlight and I know she is the one for me.

Her snowy white dress eats at my fear, while her perfect posture makes me cry out in longing to touch her. Her smile warms me up like a hot chocolate on a winters day. I gather up my courage, my heart tells me I must speak with the goddess before me.

I gingerly walk towards her, butterflies dance in my stomach, she smiles that perfect smile of hers at me. I grasp for word’s but none flow out of my mouth, she giggles and I smile; the butterflies fly away.

We look at each other, I admire every detail on her dress while she studies my face. Once more I attempt to tell her, to tell her how much I love her. Except this time she smiles and puts her finger on her lips, she then motions to the Capulet party. She turns and walks away; once more my heart skips a beat.
