A young boy only 17 kicked glass bottles and metal cans out the back of his caravan and waited for news of his his newly wedded wife, his name being Romeo. Romeo had been banished from Verona for slaying his wife’s dear cousin Tybalt. But trouble was brewing in Verona. Juliet wanted to be with her Romeo and Friar Laurence had an idea on how to do it.
“You will drink this harmless potion and appear to be dead when you will be merely sleeping. Then you will be placed in your family tomb and I will send out a letter to Romeo and he will come and take you away. The plan is flawless!”
Juliet gingerly took the potion unsure if the Friar had given her poison or not.
Juliet sat uneasily on her bed with the potion in her hand. She studied the potion then popped off the lid and took a sip, the room started slowly spinning then faster and faster until the room went black.
A letter was placed in Romeos mailbox, but as soon as the mailman left the letter fell out and dropped to the ground and when Romeo saw the mailman leaving he ran to check his mail box to see if there was any news from his darling Juliet, but to his surprise there was no letter, no package, just an empty mailbox. Then Benvolio pulled up in his brand new Maserati. He stepped out and Romeo hugged his cousin and pestered him for news of his fair Juliet. Benvolio had grim look on his face and began to Romeo of what he saw.
“I saw the coffin and everything… I’m so sorry.”
Benvolio dropped Romeo off at the Capulet’s family tomb and Romeo broke the door open with a spade and ran to his ‘supposedly’ dead wife’s side.
“My sweet, sweet Juliet! How could this have happened? You were so... well... so perfectly fine! I just don’t understand!” Romeo sobbed he grabbed the poison and whipped off the lid and put the bottle to his lips. Suddenly Juliet’s eyes fluttered open and she saw Romeo about to drink poison and smacked the bottle out of his hands and kissed him.
Suddenly without either Romeo or Juliet noticing Count Paris creaked open the door and stepped into the tomb. He saw Romeo next to Juliet’s death bed and Juliet, full of life then the poison on the ground. Paris quickly grabbed out his gun and pull the trigger. Romeo fell to the floor… Dead.
“ROMEO!” Juliet cried.
“Don’t worry you’re safe now!”
Count Paris ran to his bride and embraced her.
The next day Count Paris and Juliet were married and they lived happily ever after!
Well count Paris did at least.
The End!
