The past two weeks we have had the opportunity to have Sargent Bradley Allen (Upper Hutt and Eastbourne Police officer) come to talk to us about before and after WW1. He told us about the tactics and weapons used in WW1. We were able to see the different types of bullets used over the years. Bradley gave us a demonstration of which weapons were most affective and useful. He told us about the assassination of Arch duke Franz Ferdinand the most primary spark of WW1. And the other cousins and families connected to war. He taught us a great lot of things and I think I speak for all of us in room 24, we thank Sargent Bradley Allen for giving up his time to tell and educate us. By Helena and Alexander
