Eastbourne Poem

Eastbourne is a magnificent place,
Everything from the amazing views to the generous people.

Children screaming with excitement on the hamster wheel,
Sun bathing on the scorching sand,
Waves crashing over your head as you dive into the water,
As you look into Wellington; see the shimmering lights,
Snow highlighting the mountain tops,
Walking up the exciting bush tracks and looking back down at where you have walked from,
Fireworks sparkling in the night sky followed by the big booms,
The sea spray splashing over the cars as we drive around the bays,
The giant moon setting as I eat my scrumptious breakfast,
Backing up then sprinting off the wharf with your best friends,
Enjoying a trip to Somes Island every now and then,
Fishermen throwing their line far into the harbour and catching a delicious meal,
Gazing down at all the different shaped houses and shops,
People cooling off in the Eastbourne Pool.

You see, Eastbourne is a peaceful and wonderful place and anyone is welcome to come and stay.
I feel like I could never leave this beautiful community but one day I will have to!
