Eastbourne by Alicia

            EASTBOURNE

Eastbourne is a beautiful place in many ways for example: the beaches, bush, sun and the water.
Although all these things are all beautiful, there is one thing that tops my chart for Eastbourne that is the people.

I moved here in December last year. When we moved here I didn’t know anyone (to tell you the truth I was a bit nervous.)
I didn’t really know my age anyone here all summer and then the start of the school year rolled around. Like I said on the first day I was a bit nervous because I didn’t know anyone. Everyone at school was really nice and helped me out whenever I needed it. I went home with lots of good stories to tell my family. Even though I am not new anymore everyone is still really nice to me.

I am continuing to meet nice people all around the place and if I happen to see someone I know somewhere they will always say hi to me and give me a friendly wave.

If I am playing a team sport with Muritai school kids for instance and someone who knows me (adult or child) they will always cheer for me and my team.

The people in Eastbourne are making my experiences in Eastbourne so great and I am sure I will always have a good memory of Eastbourne and the people there.

To finish off I would like to tell you of a quote from my Dad.

“Living in Eastbourne is like living in a beach resort (a never ending holiday).
