Muritai School Values Task

On Tuesday 5th February Room 24 did an activity based on values chosen for the school by the Board of Trustees. Every table group had to put these values in order from most important to least important: respect, self-confidence, curiosity, resilience, kindness, integrity, commitment and excellence. Every table agreed that respect was at the top of the charts. Each table group had to cooperate with each other and if they had an opinion on a certain value they had to justify their reasons.

Once every table group had come to a conclusion we all took our work down to the carpet. There was a lot of debate going on between the pupils. Everyone had their own opinion which the had to justify. Eventually the class came to a conclusion and decided that the values should be in this order: respect, self-confidence, curiosity, resilience, kindness, integrity, commitment and excellence.
